Are you interested in being part of the Northern Ireland Delegation to the Social Enterprise Alliance Summit & Social Enterprise World Forum in San Francisco on 26 April - 2 May 2010?

The Cresco Trust supported by Invest Northern Ireland and the Department of Enterprise, Trade & Investment are facilitating a Northern Ireland delegation of social entrepreneurs, community leaders, business people, public sector representatives and academics to this year’s Social Enterprise Alliance Summit and Social Enterprise World Forum.

A small number of bursaries are available to social enterprises which will be awarded on a competitive basis, subject to an application and selection appraisal against eligibility criteria.

The cost per participant is £2,900. This cost includes the following:   
 
  • Flights, hotel accommodation, all meals, conference fees, site visits and all other costs associated with the overseas visit, and·         
  • Pre-departure briefing, overseas co-ordination and facilitation, post-return study debrief and evaluations
The Social Enterprise Alliance Summit & Social Enterprise World Forum attracts over 600 leaders from enterprising non-profits, for-profit companies and capital providers who will share their expertise in developing earned income strategies. 

This study tour will help develop strong and lasting relationships that will bring future benefits to policy makers, funding and social enterprise development in a Northern Ireland context.
